Replacement for MSP432P401RIPZ

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C123GH6PZ

Hi,

I currently have several designs that use the MSP432P401RIPZ.  This is a 100-pin LQFP package with 256 kB Flash, 64 kB SRAM, and 48 MHz max operating frequency.  This MCU has been discontinued, so I'm looking for a replacement that is close in specifications and size (100-pin LQFP, 14 mm x 14 mm).  Are there any recommendations?  A specific TM4C or drop down (and optimize) to a MSP430 with 25 MHz clock?

Thanks.

  • Hello Nicholas,

Depending on your exact requirements, something like TM4C123GH6PZ could be an option. It's 256kB Flash, 32 kB SRAM, 80 MHz frequency. Without knowing what peripherals you need, I can't hone in any further on a recommendation - that's a superset device with many features and you likely can get away with less than it offers.

    Best Regards,
