Hi Sal Ye,

Do you have evaluation/ launch pad board for given part number.

Also I want to know the MSP430 Compiler & Debugger for this part number ? is it GNU GCC or TI C/C++. Actually we are looking for DO-178C RTCA compatible for compilation tool chain.

Hi Sid,

If there is no EVM or Launchpad in ti.com, it means it is NOT a public resource, you may ask your supplier whether they have. Also, you can refer to the similar one which is with launchpad, and the minimum system circuit you can take link as reference.

As for compiler, MSP430 support both GCC (link) and TI C/C++.

Hi ,

Is TI C/C++ Compiler is proprietary compiler ? and https://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-TS430PM64, does this board is available in CCS for generating BSP and device drivers ?

Hi Sid,

Yes, we always recommend customer use TI C/C++ Compiler for TI products. you can refer to link.

It also applies to MSP430F249 in CCS, you can try MSPFET connected to TS430PM64, or adopt other emulator. More details about debug interface you can get support in user's guide.
