Hi,

Take a look at the MSP430 FRAM Devices Bootloader (BSL) User's Guide, section 3.3.1.1 on how to invoke BSL through software and section 3.1.2 for I2C BSL information.

You can also look at this e2e thread where a question was asked similar to yours for an MSP430 FRAM device.
