There is a tool for measuring energy consumption, it is ENERGYTRACE, you can find it resource in: https://www.ti.com/tool/ENERGYTRACE.

EnergyTrace software is included in Code Composer Studio IDE version 6.0 and later, as well as the latest version of IAR Embedded Workbench.

Thank you for your reply, Sal. Can I use ENERGYTRACE without CCS? Since I just use the mspdebug and msp430-gdb to debug the program.
