Can i run the code on code composser studio without having MSP-FET430UIF and directly connecting MSP430F5438 board with my PC?
when i do this, it always sAYS

No USB FET was found

Sorry i dont know about that, i just want to run c code on MSP430F5738 connected directly with PC via USB cable and not MSP-FET430UIF present in between.

In order to do that you will need a launchpad. If you are placing your msp device in the msp fet socket that will not work.

If you don't need breakpoint debugging, and just want to update firmware, than some USB / UART bridge can be used in combination with target device (F5438) factory preloaded UART BSL, and BSL scripter on PC side.
