Hi Team,

A customer has a question about slaa685.pdf. Can you please clarify How to properly write to the JTAG signature address? Does it have to be set as persistent?

The same picture mentions that the BSL is password protected. Can you please instruct how to change the BSL password as well?

Hi Marvin,

Take a look at the MSP430FR2433 User's Guide Section 1.11.1 here for more details on the efuse implementation for the FR2433 device specifically. This e2e thread might help provide more information on FRAM security features and example code.

Let me get back to you regarding changing the BSL password, you can also refer to the BSL User's Guide for FRAM devices here.

Hi Marvin,

This e2e thread should help with changing the BSL password, although keep in mind you are using an FRAM device so the location of the BSL password might be different and you will have to check the datasheet. The BSL password is in the IVT on the device.
