Hello everyone

I want to know the maximum clock frequency which I can set on DCO for my TI launchpad. I am working on msp430g2452.I saw that I can calibrate DCO for 1,8,12 or 16 MHz.So I want to know whether I can set any other higher value..??

    The DCO itself is capable of generating frequency as high as 27MHz. But the CPU is limited to maximum frequency of 4.15MHz at 1.8V to 16MHz at 3.3V. Thus if you DCOCLK as source of MCLK, that imposes another limit of how high you can set DCO.
