MSP430 MCU Suggest: 4 PWM + 4 Frequency counter

Hi,

We are looking for MCU for our new design which shall support

1) 4 PWM outputs(different duty cycles with same frequency)
2) To read the frequency of 4 clock inputs.

Could you please suggest an MCU from MSP430 Family.

Hi,

I there are many MSP430 devices that will meet you requirements. I would recommend looking at MSP430FR2475, it features

1 Timer_B7 instance with 7 CC, which can generate a 7 PWM signals with different duty cycles as long as they have the same frequency
4x Timer_A3 instances which can each be used for frequency measurement.
