Ok, here is the scoop.
1. Have the customer start a chat with TI Support explaining the issue. They will then request that the customer post an E2E describing the issue (this one will work so no need to start a second posting). They will require the TI order # (I'll copy post here for convenience).
I bought this product on the official website of TI on January 13th, and the order number isT03777296.
2. Have the customer copy and paste the link to this E2E forum page (copy the url in your browser) and provide it to the TI customer support chat. They will take care of the rest.
To the TI customer support team - these units are out of box failures and should be replaced.
