Hi,
In the MSP430FR231x datasheet (revision E), in table 6-22 on page 60, the input channels of the transimpedance amplifier are described to only use P1.7 (TIA0+) as positive input, all other input channel selections are "not used". However, in figure 6-3 on the next page (and figure 6-4 on the one after), the TIA is shown to use GND as positive input for input channel 0b10. This seems rather contradictory, so what would happen if TRIPSEL would be set to 0b10?
In my application, I need both an SPI and a UART (IrDA-SIR) peripheral, so it would be nice to still be able to use P1.7 as UCA0TXD by having TIA0+ be connected to GND internally instead of having to give up the pin. I have not yet bought the part (so I can't test myself), as I've been looking for something suitable and this chip would fit perfectly if it'd be possible for TIA0+ to be connected internally to GND.
Thanks.
