Hello,

We are trying to create an ultrasonic hydrogen concentration sensor to monitor hydrogen concentration in a plastic tank headspace. We originally thought the TDC1000-C2000EVM would work with two 1 MHz ultrasonic transducers but after reading some more documentation on TI's website it seems this is not the case.

After reading the Application Report Oxygen Concentration Sensing we were wondering if the EVM430 dev board be a more appropriate prototype solution? If so what transducers would be recommended for hydrogen detection in air with 100% humidity?

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for this. I have skimmed this report and this is what made me think the EVM430-FR6043 may be more correctly geared towards my application. I was just trying to get confirmation from TI.

Hi Nicholas,

You can try to do some test based on this method, FR6043 USS is a mature technology, and we have already had many customer use this technology to achieve mass production for Gas/Water Meter.
