MSP430G2744: To be programmed before SMT is ok?

Hi TI Team,

We are using MSP430G2744IRHA40R in our project, and we want to check if we program the IC on chip before SMT, would the Firmware survive SMT reflow soldering(RoHS compliant soldering line)?

Hi Yinan,

Thank you very much for your comments, I reviewed your document, but there is no no-chip programming information and also no reflow soldering information in the file.

I tried another channel to get the confirmation from TI's support earlier today, and the answer is "it could survive during reflow soldering process if we program the IC before SMT."
