I recently downloaded the MSP430-GCC-OPENSOURCE from the TI-Website. The "Mitto Systems GCC Windows installer incl. support files" was the zip-file I needed. I noticed that it is not the latest version and is still at the 2012 level. Does anyone know where I can get the latest version?

When I look I see: "Version: 9.3.1.2 Release date: 22 Jul 2021"

Yes, but after downloading the zip-File you can see that the files are from 2012. That's why I was so wondered.

After installing the msp430-gcc from the CCS App Center I got the right version. For example the "msp430-elf-as" is from 2020, that's way better.

2012? That would be a trick as that is from before when Mitto systems took over maintenance. (There are links to several earlier versions, but not many.) Perhaps even before TI took over. I still have some mspgcc files around and they have 2012 time stamps.
