Is there any ESD protection on the IO ports on a MSP430 or do I need to put my own protection on any lines that might be subject to ESD?

I did a quick look through the data sheet for the MSP430FR57xx and couldn't find any mention of the ESD succeptibility.
Since the FRAM is well away from the I/O ring - is it safe to assume the same ESD parameters apply - or is there more or less immunity?
Thanks!
