EVM430-FR6047: Current consumption information

Hi Champs,

Customer wants to get the current consumption data when our EVM connected to transducer.

our application note says 3-uA current consumption with one measurement per second.

is this including transducer tx/rx and LCD on?

    Where is the statement in which app note? A screenshot will be helpful.

    But considering your description, I think it is a stand-alone consumption. Please share more details about it and I can make some clarification.

    Hi Sal,

    Sorry about mistake. it was on MSP430FR6047 Feature page, not on evm/app note.

    by the way do you have current measurement data when the transducer and LCD running?

    They are selecting the battery now.

    Hi Ted,

    There are several current consumption of LCD in low power mode described in datasheet:

    Meanwhile, customer can try enegrytrace and enegrytrace++ for power consumption evaluation based on EVM board.

    And, they can do prototype power consumption test for the final application.
