MSP430FR6047: When low power consumption is not applicable, the fastest time period for msp430FR6047 to measure the flow rate

Hi Team,

There's an issue from the customer need your help:

Now if you want to collect more data per unit time, you need to increase the running time period, but now you can only adjust the time period to 14ms. The time used to call the USS_runAlgorithmsFixedPoint function is too long. Is there a way to reduce it?

Hi,

There might be a chance to improve the processing time down to 12~13ms by disabling volume flow calibration and other unnecessary functions. But for 1ms processing time, I honestly do not think it is possible to achieve based on the MSP430 platform. Our MSP430 USS solution is not designed for fast measurement application.
