Hi Team,

There's an issue from the customer need your help:

IC can't programed, DCO calibration data in device are blank.

They will not erase the data inside, but just put the product on the machine, call out the fixed program, and the machine will automatically burn. These defective products are found intermittently when burning in the same roll of IC, and some of them cannot be burned after burning.

The same situation has been found in the 2 volumes of materials, and the total number of defective products is 106.

Hi Ben,

I am not sure if there are some over spec action or some flash erase operation, but actual you can use this example to recalication DCO para:

And you have to connect external 32768Hz crystal when do DCO calibration.

Hi Johnson,

Hello, our programming company replied that we can't recalculate the DCO paragraph according to your method. The programming company said it had never done anything like it.

From the standpoint of SQE, I just want to know if this problem is an incoming material problem, or our process problem, I want to send samples to you for further analysis, is it okay?

Just would like to confirm that: Do you have some device that don't download any image, but the calibration data is empty?

Hi Johnson,

Our process is like this, take out the IC and put it on the machine, and then call up the program to start burning, the program will first detect whether there is data in the DCO, if there is any, it will officially start burning, if not, it will alarm the words FFh in the DCO. Therefore, the current defective products have not been burned and downloaded any programs.
