MSP-FET: MSP-FET communication error when connected with USB to RS485 convertor

I have a problem when connected MSP-FET430UIF with USB to RS485 convertor.

How to fixed this issues (need usb isolation or not)?

    Hi TinK,

    1. When you plug the MSP-FET430UIF do you see the device appear on the COM ports (or relevant operating system equivalent)? I want to verify that the device is being recognized by the computer.
    2. Have you used the MSP-FET430UIF without the convertor, so with just the USB connection on a separate device? I want to isolate if the issue is stemming from the RS485 to USB or the FET.
    3. The FET should not need a USB isolator as the device works on a normal PC USB output range (5V). Are you working on a different voltage range?

                 Answer: Yes, It MSP-FET430UIF without the convertor.

                 Answer: No, it just connect to USB device (converter USB to RS 485)

    Hi TinK,

    I connected the MSP-FET430UIF to one of our launchpads and after an update I was able to program the launchpad. Are you using a custom board or one of our launchpads? If you can, attempt to program one of our launchpads (can be any MSP430 launchpad) with the FET + USB to RS485 convertor and let me know if you're successful. If you can't program our launchpad then there is an issue with the conversion process, if you can then we would need to investigate your board and the JTAG lines.
