EVM430-FR6043: minimum transducer spacing for water flow meter?

I've got a water meter prototype design working well using 15mm dia 1mhz Audiowell transducers, with a 50mm spacing between the transducers.

Now I want to reduce the spacing as much as I can without compromising accuracy or flow rate range. I want to be able to measure about 0 to 4L/m

Is there a minimum limit to the transducer spacing? Does anyone have any tips about this?

Hi Matthew,

Decrease the transduer distance will have some influence for accuracy, BTY, why you need decrease this diatance?

It will be part of an already crowded assembly, so the smaller the better.

Hi Matthew,

We don't do more test for accuracy influence by distance, but a suitable fly time will increase metering accuracy, maybe you can try to do some test in your side.
