MSP430FR6047: MSP430FR6047 - Optical communication

Part Number: MSP430FR6047

Hi Team,

We are design and developing a product for ultrasonic water flow meter application.

We are planning to use MSP430FR6047 controller. 

We also need a optical communication for data transfer and Firmware update. Is One single infrared LED can be sufficient for both send and receive.

Please guide us on this.
