MSP430F6779: MSP430F6779 uart BSL bootloader Write password failed

Part Number: MSP430F6779
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430FR2311
We made a custom board with an MSP430F6779 chip on it. I need to be able to load firmware remotely so we have a linux board connected to the MSP430F6779 board through uart. I am running the example code from slaa760. I am running the MSP430FR2311 UART BSL example.
When I run the Linux bootloader program msp430fr_bsl, I am getting write password failed error as shown in the Linux command line jpg.
In the pictures below, the top trace is the reset line, the second trace is the test line and then receive and transmit on the bottom of the logic analyzer pictures. In some of the pictures, I zoomed in so you can see the hex values being sent and received.
Initially, I was using the default password of 0xFF, which wasn't working. I also tried a password using the memory contents of FFE0 to FFF0, but that didn't work either.
Any suggestions on what I should try next?
Thanks,
Mike
