MSP430G2553: so iam using this i want use the printf funtion and sprintf function other similar to c inbuilt function

So we are using msp430 for one our application for deugging purpose iwant to use printf instead  of uart so while i used printf function iam getting the following error how can i resolve it, as i am new to ccs studio please guide  me through the steps how can i solve this error.

the same error occcring for snprintf too
