MSP430G2452 does not work with LaunchPAD board

i´m not sure about it, i´ve worked with 3 different MSP430G2452 in 2 different launchpad boards and they all worked fine. Maybe the chip has been damaged, although i think this is improbably.  Try to use another MSP430G2452.

Is it possible if the flash is locked (security), I get this error ?

The first MSP430G2452 i got, was the one that comes with the 'capacitive touch boosterpack' and even that MCU, wich was preprogrammed with a demo wasn´t locked or in security mode. I have not enough experience to ensure you that the error is not caused by any security configuration, but at least in the time i´ve been working with the MSP family (about half a year xD) i haven´t found any chip protected.

I think this is redundant, but sometimes i fix some problems similar to yours just closing the CCS or the IAR, disconnecting the launchpad from the PC and restarting it all.

I found that this was a known issue, and they have come up with a update for the firmware for the launchpad. I will update tonight and see it it works.
