Hi Team,

I am using MSP430F5438AMPZREP in my design.

1.Apart from JTAG, which interface can be used to program this IC.

2.Is there any specific programmer that we have to use to program this IC.

3. Do you have any reference software codes for programming this IC.

This device is factory preloaded with TI UART BSL, so device can be programmed with (almost) any USB-UART bridge, by using BSL-scripter on PC side. Beside TX an RX, DTR and RTS are used (for BSL entry sequence)

If there is need for breakpoint debugging than any low-cost launchpad (SBW) can be used for this. Or MSP-FET (SBW and JTAG).

All TI software/hardware tools are open source. MSP-Flasher, MSP Debug stack or slau320.
