Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430FR5043, EVM430-FR6047
Hi
Our company develops systems for water managing and for early detection of leaks.
We are testing the possibility of using a component from the MSP430FRXXX series in order to use it as a clamp on detector.
At the initial tests we are using your TI EVM card: EVM430FR6047.
In our preliminary lab test it seems that TI component does the job.
I would appreciate your assistance:
1: Our Requirements:
- Cost : Our product will be sales in large quantities and shell be price sensitive.
- Low Power consumption
- No need for a display.
What is your recommendion for part number for a new design?
2: When should we load/burn the Boot Loader on every power-up or only during the production process?
3: How is it recommended to communicate with the component or loading the BOOT SW:
By I2C/SPI/Uart, or any other protocol? How do you work on the EVM card?
4: Low power mode: In order to read / measure continuously water flow.
What will be the power consumption? What is the recommendation for low power mode ?
Do you recommend to go in to the sleep mode between each read?
4: Do you have a local representative in Israel who will support us?
Thanks
