MSP430F5529: MSP430 HID usb interface not working as expected

Hello,

I'm implementing CDC+HID interfacing using MSP430USBDEVPACK 

CDC independently worked fine, but HID is not working as expected

as mentioned in below code when P1.1 is high the green LED should on

Steps implemented:

  1. imported H1_OnOff example from examples
  2. added above mentioned lines in that code
  3. Generated HID descriptor files from HID descriptor and replaced USB config files with generated HID descriptor files 
  4. uploaded code into the board 
  5. Opened MSP430 USB HID application
  6. entered product id (0x03FD) and connected as i mentioned in the below image
  7. and typed LED ON! red LED is on
  8. when i clicked the button P1.1 the green LED is not on

Observations:

  1. LED is on when LED ON! command sent
  2. there is no serial usb port shown in device manager/com ports
