Hi, 

is there any document that detail how to program the EVM430-Fr6047 using code compose studio, i am experiencing issue whereby CCS is not detecting the board, and even when i type the board name, its not recognized by CCS, should i use  EVM430-FR6047 or just MSP430F60147. Last. is there any link for the MSP430FR6047 firmwar

    Hi Mohamad,

    Please review the water meter quick start guide and follow its steps in order to get started using the device.

    Please visit the ultrasonic design center landing page and download USS-SWLIB-WATER to get the device drivers. 

    In CCS, please open a workspace, select file, import, drop down the "Code Composer Studio" tab, then select CCS projects. Now browse to [USS Water Lib directory path]\UltrasonicWaterFR604x_02_40_00_00\examples, then select USS_Water_Demo. Now the discovered projects tab should show 3 projects. Select MSP430FR6047EVM_USS_Water_Demo. This will import the correct project to your workspace. Now you should be able to select the project, build it, then flash the program to your device.

    I am unsure what you mean when you say CCS is not detecting the board even when you type the board name. Are you saying that you are trying to search for it in the resource explorer and it is not appearing?

    Finally, since you are using the EVM430FR6047 part, you should use that part in CCS.
