hello

I am looking for a way to save and read environment variables with MSP430FR6047.
The non-volatile memory of MSP430FR6047 is said to be 256kB. Is this area only for FW storage?
Is there a way to split the non-volatile memory area into a FW storage space and a space for storing environment variables?

What areas are “Device descriptor info(TLV)(FRAM)” and “TI calibration and configuration(FRAM)”?
Is the area used dynamically when the EVM430-FR6047 operates?
Or, I wonder if this is an area where users can read and write to arbitrary storage space.

If the user can read and write, can you tell me how to do so?

Hello JunChul,

FRAM memory can be dynamically allocated for CODE or DATA storage. Your MPU settings can be utilized to protect your code as you write to FRAM. Please see the MSP430WARE code examples for this part for some examples on writing to FRAM.
