MSP430I2040: MSP430i2040 Interfacing with Current Transformer (CT) instead of shunt

Hello,

We are working on MSP430i2040 IC and our circuit uses a shunt for metering as per the reference design.  We could calibrate the voltage and current  using EMDC GUI software. The voltage & current reading were  corresponding to the different loads that we kept changing.

We then tried replacing the Shunt with a Current Transformer ( CT) . The voltage reading were proper. But the current reading increased by approximately 30 times in the EMDC  GUI software.

Does the MSP430i2040 metering design  support a CT  instead of a shunt ?         

Or have we missed out something ?
