hello all,

probably a repeated question, but how to run any IAR applications in release mode? I am using a MSP430F2619 and currently using msp430uif  FET debugger , and would like to run the uC without the debugger. Is there any procedure involved???

edited: i am using a free version of IAR kickstart version 5.2.1

    Just downlaod the code to the MSP (don't run it in simulator), then unplug the MSP from the FET and apply supply voltage. Now it runs without debugger. At least it should :)
    You can download the Lite-FETpro430 software from elprotronic. It can be used to download the software to the target processor without the debugger IDE loaded.
