Hello,

My customer is looking for some guidance on the waveform data saved from EVM430-FR6047 USS GUI.

The understanding is that the USS GUI can save waveform data in a CSV file for manipulation in a spreadsheet.

The timestamp column is just a column of large numbers. Can you tell me what the number format is? How do we 2024-03-20_waveforms.csvtranslate the timestamp into an actual time?

For example, the graphs in the Waveforms tab in the GUI display time as 24 hour clock time like this - XX:YY:ZZ. But the timestamp in the GUI is a 4-digit decimal number. I have attached an example CSV file of data I captured this morning.

Any assistance you can share is greatly appreciated.

Hi Matthew,

The timestamp format is just in miliseconds, it doesn't appear to be related to absolute time.

So the timestamp is just saying how long (in milliseconds) the capture is?

Is there a data point to show when the waveform was captured? I am assuming the customer is looking for that info.

The timestamp just show when the given command was received (in ms, relative to runtime).

So in the excel file you shared, you have a Delta TOF value every 1000ms.

Unfortunately there's no variable that shows when it was collected based on your system time.
