SLAA274A - Pulse Ox Application Note

Hello All,

I noticed that on page 4 of the application note (SLAA274A), TI chose to go with a "DC tracking filter", and and op amp to extract the AC signal.

Why did you not use an analog bandpass filter, or an AC coupling capacitor?
