EVM430-FR6047: switching variants gives error but loads

Can you verify you have the correct device selected in your target configuration file (<device_name>.ccxml). This is in the targetConfigs folder of your project directory.

Can you also verify you have the correct device selected in your project properties under variants?

here i am modifying the variant to msp430FR6047:

applying and close

activating debug:

the problem persists.

Note: ignoring allow download. however, how do i correct?
