Hi,

In normal case on LCD_C module (LCDON = 1) and enable charge pump (LCDCPEN = 1)

If setting LCD_C module off (LCDON = 0)

What should a config register LCDCPEN?

Hi,

The normal process flow is to set the LCDON before LCDCPEN, if you turn off the LCD module then the register contents could be in an indeterministic state.

What is the reason you're asking for the charge pump enable state? If the LCD module is off I wouldn't expect the charge pump to be operational.

I want to know step turn off LCD module.

My product have 2 mode

1. Normal mode

- Display can show data

2. Low power mode.

- I will turn off display

Hi Waragorn,

You can set the LCDON to 0 to turn off output to the LCD, the charge pump does not use the LCDON bit so I would turn off the charge pump.
