MSP430FR6043: OPA836

Part Number: MSP430FR6043
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-02003

For the gas metering scheme, I would like to know about the replacement of R74 and R43 in the circuit design of TIDM-02003 MCU050A_Analog-Front-End.SchDoc, as well as the function of the circuit composed of C35, C36, R42, R45 and R46, and what treatment is done to the electrical signal? The same function of the circuit composed of C43, C45, R65, R66, R67, how to deal with the electrical signal?

  • Hi,

The C43 removes the DC offset on the receive signal. THe R65 and R67 provides a VCC/2 bias voltage to the OPA+ input pin. C45 is used for stabilized this bias voltage. R66 is used to limit the current runs into the OPA+ pin.

The C35/36, R42/44/45 is identical circuit to the other one. So, from the transducer side look into the circuit. The impedance is matched on both transceive/receive mode.

    Best regards,

    Cash Hao
