MSP430F149: Programm with MSP430 Gang Programmer

Hi

I have an old MSP430 GANG Programmer MSP-GANG430. Now I want to load my software into it so that I can program the HW with it. I have downloaded the MSP430 FLASH Gang Programmer SW for this purpose. Unfortunately, when I have selected the hardware and click on Load Image, I always get the error message Communication -Frame has errors! What can I do about this?

Hi

I refer to MSP430 Gang Programmer (MSP-GANG430) User's Guide (Rev. Q)

ERR_COMM 1 Communication − Frame has errors.

Please check the connection between programmer and target adaptor board and the power supply of the target adaptor board

I used the same hardware with our first device. It worked perfectly there.

May I know if the first device is MSP430F149 as well? or it is another part number?

How many devices are programmed at once?

It's an F133. An attempt was made with 8 channels.
