Part Number: MSP430FR247
Hello,
I have a question about the DCO. Other Ti MCUs have DCO constants stored in the info area.
which are located in the last area of the INFO-Memory and are protected separately.
Where can I find these constants in the MSP430FR2476, or are there no DCO constants there at all?
deposited? I know, a bit of a strange question, but I'm new to this type of MCU (FR-RAM)
and would like a general statement on this.
Hi Michael,
The DCO has 16 and 24MHz 30C cal (tap settings) listed in table 9-30 in the datasheet, as well as section 8.12.2.3 , and DCO software trim described in section 3.2.11.2 in the user guide.
Is this what you are looking for?
Hallo Dennis,
Hi Dennis,
No, I'm looking for something else. I wanted to know where the DCO constants are stored in the MCU.
On the MSP430AFE253, for example, they are stored in INFO memory address 0x10F0 to 0x10FF.
Where can I find this on the MSP430FR2476?
Hi Michael,
Ok, on the MSP430AFE253, you are correct. The factory DCO calibration values are located in the INFO A section of FLASH memory.
For the MSP430FR2476, the factory calibration values are located in the TLV section, which is not part of the device's INFO memory.
Was there something specific about these DCO values you are trying to do with the FR2476? Maybe if you describe what you are wanting to do, this will help me help you. ;)
Hi Dennis
No, I don't want to do anything special. Since I didn't see them in the INFO-Memory as usual,
I thought they had been deleted. Of course, if they are in a completely different memory area,
everything is fine. I had not seen this in the datasheet.
Thank you for your information and have a nice weekend.
