EVM430-FR6047: Which transducer channel (ch0 or ch1) is supposed to be the upstream transducer, or does it matter?

Part Number: EVM430-FR6047

Tool/software:

I can't find this piece of info anywhere. Which transducer channel, ch0 or ch1, is supposed to connect to the upstream transducer and which channel connects to the downstream transducer, or does it matter?

I'm using the current TI GUI and the latest TI firmware for the EVM430-FR6047 eval board.

  • Hi Anthony,

It does not matter which transducer serves as upstream vs downstream. The measurements shown on the device might be negative, but you can either change this in software (to change the excitation sequence, multiply by -1, or other), or you can rewire your hardware.
