Is there a difference in measurement accuracy when the transducer is transmitting in single-shot mode and when it is transmitting in sweep mode? Also, if the transducer's oscillation frequency is already known, is there any advantage to using sweep mode?

    Hi,

    For gas meter, we only recommend to use sweep mode. And for water meter, we would recommend to use single tone mode. 

    Sweep mode can improve measurement stability on the absTOF calculation in a lower SNR environment(gas meter). It can reduce the chance of cycle slip issues in this case.
