Hello,

MSP430FR6979IPNR from TI is having Crypto Bootloader feature which looks like security mainly for firmware updates/ installs, not necessarily for security when booting. 

I need to confirm if it also has a feature of secure boot (when a device goes through its boot up process, it has mechanism to detect malicious code)?

    Hi Rishi,

    Have you been able to check through our Crypto BSL Document? Section 1.1 indicates that the device is capable of checking for firmware modification, and for protection against loading unauthorized firmware. 

    So we do have some secure boot related features but I think that it is best to read through the document for details on what we intend to enable with the device.
