James Evans said that never set interrupt enable other than master channel.

But, if so, we can't set preload which bigger than master channel's preload to another channels.

Because when interrupt occurs, another channel's conversion are not finished.

And when 4 channel group conversion with 2041, channel 3 is the fixed master.

Is MSP430i2041 can not set bigger preload than master channel to another channels ?

Hi Akinori,

I think you are right, you can not set the preload bigger then your master chennel which generate the interrupt.

While, if need this feature, you can add some delay in your interrupt to ensure that the conversion can be completed. Or, maybe you can poll up in interrupt to check the flags of other channel.

Hi Akinori,

I got some recommendation from team expert, you could refer below method to see whether it could work without other timer interrupt or delay.

Setting all the channel interrupt (including master and other channel)
In the ISR, using interrupt flag to check which channel is finished (reading interrupt flag will clear the interrupt), then read the data in the ISR.
1. After it clear the interrupt flag, it is expected not to prevent other channel interrupt
After all channel interrupt is asserted, then it means all the channels is finished conversion.
