I would like to know,does cc430f6137 has hardware PN9 enabled or do v need to have software for PN9 decoding/encoding?

Any help ?

Hello Jagas,

According to the CC430 Family User's Guide, data whitening using a PN9 sequence can be implemented on the data field and 2-byte CRC checksum. Page 550 and 551 of the guide, shown below, discuss the imlementation and use of the PN9 sequence.

As indicated by the user's guide, PKTCTRL0.WHITE_DATA resets to a value of 1 which turns on data whitening by default.
