Tool/software:
Hi,
The link for MSPBoot included in SLA600 seems not working. If I click the following link:
https://www.ti.com/tool/download/MSPBOOT
I get a 404 error:
Could someone please fix the link? An older version can be downloaded here, but I am interested in what the latest revision entails.
Thanks,
ZL
Hi ZL
https://www.ti.com/tool/download/MSPBOOT link is broken. as your sharing, please download the mspboot on https://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/MSPBoot/latest/index_FDS.html
on the difference between MSPBoot and Custom BSL solution. Please refer to this previous thread discussion: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp-low-power-microcontrollers-group/msp430/f/msp-low-power-microcontroller-forum/1162654/msp430f5328-how-to-make-mspboot-work
Thanks!
Hi Xiaodong,
Thanks for your reply.
The link you shared seems to be the same as the one I thought was an older version. The zip file contains SLAA600d while the latest version is SLAA600e. Is there any update since then?
MSPFRBoot uses Python to build customized project for other FR series MCU. It would be nice if we can use Python instead of Perl to build customized project for other MSP430 MCUs.
Best,
ZL

I have checked with expert mspboot on https://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/MSPBoot/latest/index_FDS.html is the latest version.
Please check the revision history on SLAA600e: only some format and link are updated on the document.
Thanks
