Hello,

We have an MSP430 and CC2340R2 on a single PCB.

Is there a single hardware tool that allows to download the code into both MCU through the 2-pin SWD interface? We would use Uniflash to control that hardware tool.

Correct me if I'm wrong: I don't think there is any single hardware tool allows debugging of MSP430 and CC2340.

Hi Fred, thanks for the question. Do you have an XDS110 style JTAG connector on the board by chance?

Not such a chance! We don't have room for "anything". SWD interface is even shared through an analog mux.

Hey Fred, understood. If you are using an SWD interface, you may look at a J-Link debug module which should work for both of these platforms.

Thanks for the clue.

According to https://www.segger.com/supported-devices/search/msp430, J-Link debug probe does not support MSP430.

However, Segger Flasher tools do support flash programming of both CC2340 and MSP430. This may well be our winner!

Meanwhile, I started considering using the ROM bootloader builtin CC2340 as we have UART pins exposed along with SWD interface.
