EVM430-FR6047: Questions about the USS tool used, based on the MSP430FR6007EVM water meter metering scheme

Part Number: EVM430-FR6047

Tool/software:

Hello TI experts!

Please kindly to  give  us some advice,

Ask 3 questions:
1) In the USS tool, on the interface of "Calibration-VFR flow-temperature", the actual data such as meter ID, flow ID, and TEMP ID under MEASUREMEMTS are stored in which file , and the file name of the measurement data is stored. (We are considering batch data calibration, and we need to use this file to speed up the calibration)

2) How to do bubble detection in water, what are the suggestions to achieve bubble detection?

3)Piecewise fit calibration, at the junction, there will be mutations, and there is any way to eliminate or reduce these mutations

  • Hi,

    1. I do not find any files stored those data. I am afraid that customer need to type those parameter manually into the USS GUI.

    2. We do not have bubble detection function in USS library. Customer may need to implement their own method. Well, monitoring the maximum data point of the receiving signal could be a solution.

    3. Add more ranges could help to reduce the mutations.

    Best regards,

    Cash Hao
