MSP430F2619S-HT: Decreasing ADC Resolution as Temperature Increases

I'm seeing some very strange behaviour of the internal ADCs on the MSP430F2619S-HT over (around) 100 degrees C.

This part is supposed to work up to 150 degrees C according to the data sheet.

Basically the ADCs return values with less and less resolution, i.e. the LSBs are disappearing as the temperature increases.

Any ideas?

Here are my thoughts that may help to find the root cause.

Can you use some constant voltage points to do the test? It will be more clear?

Do you input a voltage to ADC directly? Can you increase the sampling time and double check?

What reference your are using? External ADC reference, internal reference or VDD?

I'll hook up a constant voltage etc and see what happens.

Hi Eason, I increased the sampling clock speed ACLK and all is now good, thank you for that
