Hello,

I have a problem that should not exist - related to 2-wire JTAG programming

I have x2 MSP-FET430UIF programmers - One works in 2-wire mode - one does not.

So I ordered x2 new MSP-FET Flash emulation tools - and neither one works. (read on)

Referencing the slau278ah.pdf page 22 - figure 2-2 -  I have a 33K verses a 47K pullup to 3.3 Volts - but that is the only difference.

Additional info - I jumpered out R2 and disconnected pin 8 (TEST/VPP) - and now it works with the new MSP-FET pods.

Can someone explain this behavior ?
