MSP430FR59941: MSP430FR59941 Programming

Hi Caleb, thanks for the question. Just as a sanity check, can you try programming using the FET programmer 3V3 and GND? Is it fair to assume you have the JTAG programming socket on your board?

Hi Brian, I've actually tried both ways. We do have a regulator output that is being back sourced when I power through the FET programmer. But it seems like the micro is still being powered. Right now I have TDO, TDI, TMS, TCK, and TEST connected on the JTAG. Am I missing anything else?

Hey Caleb, do you have the RST pin also connected with a pull up to VCC like below?

we did externally but after connecting the rst pin to the rst on the fet programmer it seemed to work.
