MSP430G2553: Please help me DEBUG my DEBUGGER

Part Number: MSP430G2553
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EXP430G2ET

Tool/software:

I've asked for help on this on an earlier question, but haven't heard anything. If you guys are just tired of hearing from me, please just say so... I can take a hint, and won't ask any further questions.

In hopes that's NOT the case, and there's "something else" that's precluding an answer to the following issue, I'll re-state the issue here:

I have been working with my new MSP-EXP-430G2ET dev kit in the "CCS Cloud" in my browser. I have been experimenting with some source code: msp430g2xx3_lpm3_vlo.c

It worked for a while; i.e. I was able to build and load/Debug the code on the dev kit. I began making some changes to the code, and suddenly I could no longer get the debugger to work. When I try to "Debug Project", the "wheels spin" for a few seconds, and it ends with a message to the effect of "Debug session initialization failed. See console for details."  Only there are no details in the console!

I have un-plugged and re-plugged the dev kit about 10 times to no effect. I have deleted the project, and re-installed it - twice. I have tried the RESET button numerous times - to no effect. Also, FWIW:

1. the Debugger/Loader still works on the "BlinkLED_..." example.

2. prior to the Debugger malfunction I had attempted to modify a header file. I don't recall the name of the header file, but it was referenced in the msp430.h file.

I AM STUCK... DEAD IN THE WATER. Can someone help???
