MSP430F249: Hardware tools for MSP430F249 programming

Hi,

I'm using MSP430F249 in one of the designs. I tried to program it with MSP-EXP430G2ET that I have. But MSP430F249 was not getting detected. 

Hence, I have ordered MSPEXP430F5529LP as datasheet mentions "The eZ-FET lite emulator on the F5529 LaunchPad development kit can interface to most MSP430 MCUs, not just the onboard F5529 target device".

Can this be used to program MSP430F249 as the datasheet. If not, can you please suggest the right hardware programming tool.
